Your challenge
Since February of this year we are a stand-alone company and have started our new journey. At the end of May, Philips Lighting was listed on the Amsterdam Euronext Stock Exchange. The creation of a separate, stand-alone company offers a historic opportunity!

As the Communications Business Partner for Enabling Functions or Business Group(s)(BG), you focus on identifying top drivers of corporate strategy and areas where Communications can drive value by partnering with the Enabling Functions/Business Group(s). The Business Partner routinely examines Communications? portfolio of activities to pinpoint and discontinue lower-value work while designing frameworks and best practice guidelines that support the functions or BGs.

In this role you liaise with the enabling function or BG leader(s) and their management team(s) and align with the relevant communications colleagues for business groups, to develop and execute global communications that support the strategy and business goals of the company and contributing to raising awareness of the progress against our strategy.

Your responsibilities
As the Communications Business Partner for Enabling Functions or Business Group(s) your expertise will be focused on the following areas:

Relationship management:
-   Business partnering and leadership support:
o   Build constructive and effective relationships to develop a deep understanding of business needs
o   Develop rapport and credibility with function/business partners in order to provide strategic communications counsel and develop (internal) content and approach for function/BG leaders to drive growth, performance and enhance employee engagement
o   Be first point of contact for function/BG leaders across the global integrated communications team (media relations, reputation management, press office, exec & organization comms) to streamline integrated approach
o   Build a deep understanding of business partners? objectives in order to tie communications work directly to desired business outcomes
o   Coordination with reputation management team on management of issues that threat corporate reputation
-   Stakeholder alignment:
o   Plan, coordinate and activate global communications activities in full alignment with the global integrated communications leads of the markets.
o   Coordinate with Media relations, reputation management, thought leadership, Marketing and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to employee communications and engagement initiatives that support overall business objectives.

Strategic planning and project management:
?   Uncover internal clients? communication needs and priorities to provide direction for focusing on high-value work and identify highest-impact opportunities for Communications? support
?   Development and activate integrated communications plans for the function/B, aligned with the markets.
?   Plan, coordinate and activate communication activities in full alignment with the Strategy, Marketing, Brand, Thought leadership, Digital colleagues and network
?   Routinely examine Communications? portfolio of activities to pinpoint and discontinue lower-value work
?   Drive focus on work with measurable business outcomes
?   Support key function/BG events including leadership summits, key trade fairs etc.
?   Identify, track, and report outcome-focused metrics
?   Contribute to quarterly financial results with proofpoints of progress on our strategy from function/business area.

Manage strategic projects:
In addition to specific function or BG support, as a senior communications business partner, you will periodically lead cross-company strategic communications projects.

Your team
The Executive and Organizational Communications team is part of the global Philips Lighting Integrated Communications team of approximately 25 professionals split across teams of Press Office, Media Relations, Thought Leadership and Executive & Organizational Communications. You?ll report into the Head of Executive and Organizational Communications.
